Whenever you create a selection, Corel Painter deactivates the previous
selection.
To make a rectangular or square selection
1 Choose Window Layers.
2 In the Layers panel, do one of the following:
• Click a layer.
• Click a layer group.
• Hold down Command + Shift (Mac OS) or Ctrl + Shift (Windows), and click
each layer you want to select.
3 Perform a task from the following table.

Choose the Oval Selection tool from the
toolbox. Drag in the document window to
select an area.
